Splash the Colour was an interesting one. I had to remove the colour from an image and leave some of it in colour. I didnt really have too much inspiration for this particular assignment. As I have seen images like it before, i knew that a butterfly would work for this particular bit. I think it looks good personally, a bit shabby on the lines where the colour meets B+W.
To create the final image, I used Adobe Photoshop. Using the magnetic lasso tool, i drew around the butterfly and inverted the selection, so now the outer was selected, and not the butterfly. The I just clicked on Black and White under Image, and then Adjustments on the drop down menu at the top of the program. Overall It was easy to do, and pretty fun too.
